Are you even South African if you don't love a good ol lamb chop? Although, we wish we could Braai every day- that's not always possible... so here is a recipe for delicious lamb chops made in a pan.
Ingredients
8 lamb chops depending on their size
2 tbsp olive oil
Juice of 1 lemon
Marina braai salt with peri-peri
2 tsp thyme leaves
4 garlic cloves crushed
Lighthouse black pepper
Instruction
1. Pre-heat a stainless-steel pan over high heat.
2. Drizzle the lamb chops with the olive oil and lemon juice then generously season with the herbs, braai salt, black pepper and garlic on both sides.
3. Place the lamb chops in the hot pan then sear for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
4. Flip the lamb chops onto the fat side and allow to sear until the fat has started to render and has caramelised.
5. Remove from the pan and allow to rest for a few minutes before serving with lemon wedges.
