Coloured Salt

It's Easter season!! Here's a fun activity for kids this holiday!

You will need:

- Marina Sea Salt

- Food colouring, as many colours as you want

- Ziplock bags

Steps to follow

1. Pour in your Marina Sea salt in a ziplock bag, any amount you want.

2. Follow up by pouring the food colouring in the ziplock bag with salt. Do it one drop at a time. Stop when you're happy with the colour.

3. Carefully press the air from the ziplock bag without losing the salt.

4. Wait for a minute before proceeding, to give the salt time to settle.

5. Press down on the bag again and again. This helps the food colouring mix completely with the salt.

6. Knead until you can see that the colour has permeated all of the salt in the plastic bag.

7. Done!! The salt is now ready for use. If the salt is damp, let it dry before use by allowing air into the bag and waiting a few hours more.

Repeat the process for as many colours as desired!
