If you’re a fan of simple, easy experiments, you’re gonna love this. Grab three bowls , a string and let’s get started.

Here’s what to do:

1. Fill one bowl with little water

2. Fill the second bowl with ice

3. Fill the third bowl with Marina Sea Salt

Now, get ready to make magic! Using only the string, do you think you can lift up a piece of ice from the bowl? Let’s find out!

Steps to follow:

1. Place a few ice cubes in the bowl of water

2. Place the string in the bowl and pick up one ice cube.

Any luck? No problem, let’s try to sprinkle Marina Sea Salt into the bowl full of ice and water to see what happens. Does the ice melt? Next , place the string on one of the ice cubes and sprinkle Marina Sea Salt over the string and wait for 60 seconds to see what the results will be.

When 60 seconds is over, carefully lift the string with concentration . Did you manage to lift up the ice cube? Awesome! Salt sprinkled into ice causes it to melt as it lowers the freezing point.
